Jane Bergenn is a superb teacher who works carefully and thoughtfully with her students to elicit their very vest. One of Ms. Bergenn's particular strengths as a teacher is her ability to stimulate and nurture the creative spirit in her students. She does this in more ways than I know or can describe. One example, however, is the way she takes full advantage of her own practice of yoga and meditation to work with students to develop an inner vision. It is from these inner visions that Ms. Bergenn's students begin to see the sources of their own creative ideas. Ms. Bergenn also demands disciplined skill development in her students and the combination of the creative element with those artistic skills produces highly impressive student art.
